ARTICLE 1. FIRE LIMITS

The following shall be and are hereby declared to be the fire limits of the city:

       The south half of Block Thirty; all of Block Thirty-one and Block Thirty-two, the south half and northwest quarter of Block Thirty-three; all of Blocks Thirty-six, Thirty-seven and Thirty-eight; and the north half of Blocks Thirty-nine and Forty; and all the intervening and intersecting streets and alleys, and parts thereof contiguous thereto.

(a)   It shall be illegal for any person, agent, trustee, owner or other person to board up any windows on Main Street or Downtown area of Kiowa before first applying for a permit from the city.

(b)   Such permit will be applied for at the office of the city clerk at least three days in advance of the date that such work is planned.

(c)   Such permit application must be accompanied by a permit fee as set in the city’s fee resolution.
